Uh Oh, I forgot my password.

If you simply forgot your password, you may do one of two things:  1) Contact your classroom teacher and they may reset it for you  2) Click on the link adjacent to your login profile on the C-SAT homepage.  Proceed to enter your email address and your password will be instantly emailed to your account for you to access.

I think my quiz score or cumulative average is incorrect!

Questions regarding scoring should first be directed to classroom teachers.  Teachers are able to retrieve a student's submitted answers from any instance a quiz was submitted.  If a teacher can confirm your average was indeed miscalculated, then the teacher is responsible for reporting the issue to C-SAT Support.

I can't open my quiz or submit it for grading...

A quiz may only be enabled for submission by a teacher.  A teacher must check that the quiz has both a status of "Active" and that its corresponding activation date parameters permit the quiz to be viewed on the current date.  If not, the quiz will not include a hyperlink such that it may be opened effectively.  Similarly, quizzes may have a maximum number of times it can be submitted.  If that maximum number is reached, the quiz takes on a read only behavior preventing a student from submitting it online.

Can I take or create a quiz at home?

The most powerful feature of C-SAT is that it is entirely web enabled.  Students and Teachers alike may create and take quizzes from any computer that has an internet connection.  For best results, it is recommended to use IE 6.0 or above and a high speed internet connection.

If a student leaves my school, what will happen to his test scores?

If a student leaves a classroom or school, his or her profile may be de-activated, preventing them from logging into C-SAT.  However, their quiz scores will continue to be factored into cumulative reports...  only after the school year ends will all data be archived.

What happens at the end of the school year?

All submitted quiz information is archived.  Separate reports may be run by administrative users to view performance as related to any one school year.  In addition, all teachers and student information is kept in the database as inactive.  Upon beginning the next school year, Directors need only activate teachers at the click of a button to enable them to access C-SAT with the same user profile as last year.  Similarly, teachers need only activate students to include them in C-SAT for the new year.  At this time, they may also add or delete students as appropriate.
